BMW 540I SE 1997. Backed by vosa mot. 74,000 on the clock. I have owned this since November 2020. The car is very clean with absolutely no rust spots or any physical defects, just the normal wear and tear you expect from a car of its age. It has been upgraded with a full android stereo (still functions with the steering wheel control buttons), m sport bumpers and headlights. Everything is functional, including parking sensors, electric wheel adjustment, central locking, alarm, electric sunroof, built in bmw telephone, electric seats and headrests, memory seats, dual climate control, electric windows, cruise control, traction control, Bluetooth. The only bad point I would say there is is that one of the railings on the sunroof needs attention, therefore, sunroof does not tilt. Car also has a custom made kill switch located in the boot, where if parked up for long periods of time, you can flip the switch to turn off all electrics to avoid a flat battery. When its not driven, it is always parked and covered with a heavy duty, all terrain proof car cover. Car will come with a fresh full service before collection. Tyres are almost brand new with plenty of tread, has had its last MOT in April 2021 but hardly driven since, just to car shows (car is a real head turner), sounds amazing. Private plate will be taken off before collection and original plates will go back on to the car. Still have original SE bumpers in the same colour in excellent condition which I will let go with the car along with spare front seats, m sport facelift steering wheel, headrests and door cards. It will honestly be a great shame to see it go but after much thinking Ive decided it is for the best. Anyone who knows these cars know that these are fast appreciating classics – e39 diesels with over 150k on the clock sell for 4k+. However, will accept sensible offers.
